The new owners of Color Me Mine Norfolk are husband-and-wife duo Adam and Jenny Flick. Adam, a Navy veteran, previously managed a Color Me Mine studio in Cypress, Texas and brings extensive experience in franchise operations. Jenny, who previously worked in higher education, will serve as the store’s manager. When the corporate-owned Norfolk studio became available for local ownership, Adam, a Navy veteran, was drawn to the area’s strong military roots and close-knit community, inspiring him to pursue ownership. Housed in a charming two-story building, the Norfolk studio offers a cozy and inviting space for guests to unleash their creativity.
“Color Me Mine has always been about more than painting pottery. It’s about connection and community,” said Adam Flick. “As a Navy veteran, and with Jenny’s family’s deep military ties, choosing a military-friendly town like Norfolk felt like a natural fit. We’re excited to build a welcoming space where people can slow down, connect, and create together.”
Color Me Mine Norfolk is more than just a pottery painting studio; it’s a creative hub that encourages people to disconnect from technology, spend time bonding with friends and family, relax after a busy day, tap into their artistic side and most importantly – have fun. Guests will enjoy time together while they paint their chosen pottery piece, they then will leave their painted pottery to be glazed and fired and can pick up their kiln-fired masterpiece in about a week. Color Me Mine in Norfolk is the ideal place for anyone to gather for a fun and fulfilling experience.
Color Me Mine Norfolk is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Every month, Color Me Mine will host a series of events, found on their calendar page.
